Body Glove is All Wet for Fall 2012

With heavy raining hitting much of the east coast this week it is hard to think of anything except wanting to stay dry, but Body Glove has announced its new lineup of wet suits. These include four new models including the PRIME, Vapor, CT and Legends.

Starting off there is the PRIME, which arrives just in time, with its Pyrostretch insulation that strategically placed throughout the interior. This provides the wearer with increased thermal retention and reduced heat dissipation by trapping heat generated from the body and reflecting it inward. This model also offers the second generation EVO-Flex to provide improved stretch for freedom of movement, and Nano-Tritec kneepads to add extra abrasion resistance.

The Vapor returns for its 10th year on the market, and offers 100 percent Vapor Stretch water repellent technology and Vapor-lock seams, along with Thermofiber from the chest down, and Nano-Tritec kneepads.

The CT wetsuit is out this year for the competitive surfer, offering a lightweight suit with Manga Flex, the company’s highest performing stretch material, which is reportedly 10 percent lighter than standard neoprene.

There is also the Legends wetsuit, which was made in honor of Body Glove founders Bob and Bill Meistrell and designed for the more mature surfer. The Legends wetsuit has a fuller torso cut and extended back zip, for maximum ease of entry and exit. It is made of 100 percent Eco Flex, the purest form of non-toxic material on the planet, environmentally friendly non-petroleum Bio-Stretch rubber, with anti-microbial properties.

Time to suit up with these wetsuits that should fit like a glove.
