Getting into Hot Water

There are times that “getting into hot water” is a good thing, such as when it is cold outside and you could use a warm beverage. The Jompy takes this a step further, as it provides a way for campers, backpackers and hikers to get hot water from their hydration packs, while also ensuring that the water is clean and safe to drive.

And that’s not all. It even allows for the water to be heated in a coiled aluminum disc and thus used as a cook surface at the tip time. It can connect to a hydration pack or other water supply, where the water is circulated through the Jompy coils and then discharged on the other end. Water can flow through and be brought to a boil in just 45 seconds. It also can save on fuel – reportedly the Jompy uses 60 percent less gas when boiling water than if it were in a pain. And because the coiled disc is aluminum it can be heated with a stove or even over wood.

It does mean you have one more thing to bring around when in the great outdoors but this is something you’ll never want to camp without!
