Newton Running is a running shoe company that’s made a name for itself by creating running shoes with a minimal design. That is a shoe that works with the natural running motion – which the company says is toe to heel. Newton will release the Energy running shoe in July, which is a transitional running shoe that will help those wearing conventional shoes on the road to better adapt to the natural running motion.
The Energy running shoe has a little bit more of a sole than other shoes from the brand. It almost looks like a “shape-up”-style shoe with a built up sole. The shoe helps runners get used to a new motion, toe to heel, which goes against how many of us typically run.
The Energy running shoe from Newton will be available in stores on July 17 for $119.
