International marine researchers are getting a glimpse beneath the world’s oceans using a surfboard-inspired, unmanned ‘wave glider’ device that collects data about the creatures living beneath the waves.

The National Shooting Sports Foundation’s latest firearms retailer survey asked: ”In your opinion, has the number of female customers in your store increased, decreased, or remained the same in 2011 over 2010?” Seventy-three percent of responding retailers said they had seen an increase.
