The 4th of July means many things to many Americans. For some, it’s the official kick-off to a much-needed summer vacation with family. And for others, it’s about watching a small-town parade or celebrating with a patriotic fireworks show. As a veteran-owned company with its roots in protecting American soldiers, Wiley X, Inc. reminds all Americans to keep the focus this July 4th on the true meaning of the Holiday – the precious gift of independence.

But there is something we all share, and that is the independence – and the freedoms we enjoy – every day,” said Wiley X Co-Owner Myles Freeman, Jr. “It doesn’t matter if you can trace your heritage back to the pilgrims or you’ve only been here a short time – all Americans have an equal stake in the meaning of Independence Day. When we gather to celebrate our nation’s independence, we honor our great country’s past, present and future. We recognize the many who sacrificed to bring us independence, as well as those Americans who serve today to protect it,” added Freeman.
