Pyle Audio has shown that it knows a thing or two about rugged outdoor audio gear and now the company has introduced its eXpo Hi-Speed HD Action Camera, which it calls the perfect companion for action sports enthusiasts looking to re-live every hairpin turn or monster jump, while sharing their hi-resolution photos and videos with family and friends.

This 20megapixel camera/camcorder features CMOS image sensor technology, while it can record 1080p video, and can shoot at 60, 50, 30 or 25 frames-per-second. When heading out into the wilds less can be more as the new Rocket Torch from Pyle Audio proves. This sleek cylinder is both a multi-functional speaker and flashlight equipped. It is equipped with Bluetooth technology, FM radio, mini SD card slot and AUX-IN jack. It is water resistant yet weighs less than a pound, while the Bluetooth technology allows users to connect to any iOS, Android or PC device and listen to music and phone calls up to a distance of 32 feet.

It also offers a bright, energy efficient LED flashlight that can be clipped to a backpack or even a bike for traveling at night. This is one rocket that will light the way and rock out the tunes.

Pyle Audio has introduced the Bluetooth Heart Rate Monitor and Watch (PSBTHR70), which measures heart rate, average speed, distance traveled, number of steps taken, lap speeds and calorie consumption. This data can be wirelessly transmitted – by Bluetooth of course – to various third party apps on compatible Android and iOS devices. Supported apps include RunKeeper, MapMyRun and WahooFitness among others.

This watch, which is available in black, green, blue or pink for around $70, can display time in a 12 or 24 hour format and features optional hourly chimes and daily alarms, as well as a built-in calendar system. Continue reading Pyle It On

Pyle Scale for Those Who Piled on the Pounds

Did you pile on the pounds this holiday season? While the Pyle Audio Bluetooth Fitness Scale won’t actually help you shed the pounds, it could help you monitor the progress. Along with an integrated app it is designed to provide the most critical data points for any workout regimen including body fat, hydration levels, muscle level and bone level percentages.

It can wirelessly send data to a mobile device, and work with the free Pyle Health Fitness Tracker app to create user profiles and chart progress. Workout data can be shared online via Facebook and Twitter or kept password-protected for private tracking.
