Treadmill Marathoner Looks to Set Record

There is the loneliness of the long distance runner, but those looking to run a marathon can at least take in 26.2 miles of scenery. And then there is the loneliness of the long distance runner who runs on a treadmill.

As Competitor noted, marathoners Michael Wardian and Kim Duclos are attempting to set new world records for the fastest treadmill marathon at the John Hancock Sports and Fitness Expo on Boston Marathon weekend, April 14 and 15. They will do so using Virtual Runner Software technology from Outside Interactive.
