SHOT Show Preview: Morakniv is Fixed for Blades

MoraknivThe Industrial Revolution changed the world and the company Industrial Revolution will introduce their game changing Morakniv brand at the 2014 SHOT Show in just two weeks. Manufactured in Sweden, these specialty knives offer 400 years of craftsmanship.

Made of the sharpest steel available, Morakniv blades are fashioned for accuracy. The handles are designed to fit the contours of the palm, becoming, in effect, an extension of the hand.

The Bushcraft Orange (left above) keeps you from losing your knife while the .125” thick stainless steel blade is heavier and more robust. You can use the back of the blade with a fire starter as the spine of the blade is sharp and ground especially for that purpose. The plastic sheath comes with two interchangeable belt clips.

The Companion Serrated (center) in orange is a knife with a patterned high-friction grip and serrated blade that has been developed for cutting rope, nylon, and fiber. Blade of Swedish-rolled special stainless steel. Plastic sheath with a belt clip.

The Fishing Comfort Fillet 155 (right) is a classic filleting knife with a blade of Swedish cold-rolled special stainless steel. Patterned high-friction grip handle and “Easy-Clean” sheath with two interchangeable belt clips. MSRP: $24.99

KineticShift Goes For Three

It was three years ago at CES that KineticShift officially launched. In that time we’ve filled more than 220 pages of news, show reports, reviews and interviews. We’ve logged countless miles running, on bikes and on the slopes. We’ve tested several dozen products and hopefully have gotten healthier and fitter for it all.

This week we head back to Las Vegas for the 2013 International CES, and that is just the beginning. Throughout the month we’ll report on the latest news and products coming out of SHOT Show, SIA Snow Show, NAIAS (Detroit Auto Show) and Outdoor Retailer Show. And there is much, much more to come. It has been a great three years and we look forward to what 2013 has to offer!

We’re also on the look for some help, so contact us if you’d like to contribute or see your product covered on KineticShift!

SHOW Time – The Trade Shows Will Go On

The holiday season is far from over, but with the New Year less than a week away we begin to think about what it will bring. One thing for certain is a lot of products. January isn’t just the post-holiday season, it is also the season of winter trade shows. Next month these will keep us busy as KineticShift will be heading to the shows, including International CES (formerly the Consumer Electronics Show), SHOT Show, Outdoor Retailer Winter Market and the SIA Snow Show.

Be sure to check back all next month as we’ll be covering product announcements from all these and other trade shows!

The company has introduced a new line of PowerSync portable charging devices, which will debut in January – likely in time for SHOT Show (Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Trade Show) in Las Vegas.
