There is the saying, “put a sock in it,” but the Sensoria Fitness Smart Sock Tracker lets you instead put a fitness monitor on your socks. This Smock Sock is designed to tell you your stride cadence and running form, and even monitors how your foot is landing. This device, which is now part of an Indiegogo project, is made up of a cloth-material Smart Sock that can be washed and dried like a normal sock, and a special anklet that magnetically snaps on the cuff of the sock. Handle on Things
There is so much stuff to bring while cycling and even with three pockets in the jersey there is also more to carry. The Handleband could solve that problem as this universal bike mount can hold phones and even open bottles post-ride. The Handleband is now being developed by Daniel Haarburger of Boulder, Colorado via a Kickstarter project.

A smartphone on a bike ride can do many smartphones but only if it is accessible. Reaching to the back pocket while riding down the road isn’t exactly a good idea, but the Dew Motion iStick Playtime can provide access and control of many app features for an iPhone – with an Android version in the works.

There have been no shortage of fitness apps to help users stay fit while on the go, but the Obstacles XRT app goes to the extreme – and XRT even stands for Extreme Reality Training. It provides instructional videos based on high intensity interval training (HIIT) workouts, which can be done from the home. While that might not sound particularly extreme the works promise otherwise. The only thing not extreme is that this only is available for iOS.
Easy Breezing
There are plenty of wearable devices that can track activity as well as calorie intake. However the actual tracking isn’t actually accurate because these devices – including heart rate monitors – can’t determine an individual’s specific metabolism and thus can’t really determine how fast one is really burning calories. While the devices aren’t technically guessing, the results aren’t 100 percent accurate, and this is why some users don’t see the results they think they should be getting. 2013 CES: SwingTIP Helps Users Get in the Swing
There are plenty of golf aids out there, but the SwingTIP from Mobiplex features new motion sensor technology that offer real time analysis of each swing. A sensor mounts to the club while software on the user’s mobile phone can provide ways golfers can improve their game by tracking performance stats, providing video-like swing animations and offering other tips based on what the golfer is doing right or wrong.
